This explains what SANE collects when you shop with us, buy a ticket, or write in, and what we do with it. We keep this short on purpose. If something here doesn't make sense, write to contact.sanegroup@gmail.com and ask.
SANE is operated by [Legal entity name, e.g. SANE Apparel Ltd.], registered at [Registered business address]. We're the data controller for the information described below.
When you place an order, buy a ticket, subscribe to our newsletter, or write to us, we collect what you give us directly: name, email, shipping address, and order or ticket details. We don't collect or store your card details. Paystack handles payment and passes us only the outcome (paid, failed) and a transaction reference.
We also collect basic technical information automatically, like pages viewed and general device type, to understand how the site is used and to keep it working.
To take your order and get it to you, to issue and verify event tickets, to send the emails you'd expect (order confirmations, ticket QR codes, newsletter issues you've asked for), to answer what you write in about, and to keep the shop from being abused (fraud checks, rate limits). We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for anything beyond running SANE.
A short list, all of it necessary to run the shop: Paystack processes payment, Resend delivers our emails, and our hosting and database providers store the data behind the scenes. Staff accounts (for order management and event check-in) are handled through Clerk. None of these providers get to use your data for their own purposes.
We don't share your information with advertisers, and we don't sell it to anyone.
We keep order and ticket records as long as needed for accounting, warranty, and legal reasons. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from the link at the bottom of every letter we send.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we're legally required to keep (like paid order records). Write to contact.sanegroup@gmail.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
We use essential cookies to keep your bag and session working. We don't run third-party advertising trackers. If that changes, this page will say so before it happens.
SANE isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell subscribers directly.
